I don't try too hard to follow any rules of photography, because I take pictures for fun. Sometimes I have a certain idea though, and trying to use my knowledge to make a scene look particularly nice (in my opinion) is really fun.
All I really did here was try and eccentuate the empty space surrounding this stump. I didn't turn out the way I had envisioned, but it's still pretty cool.
